This is a weekend to celebrate multi-sport activities in Chattanooga. The Scenic City is one of 10 cities in the world that is home to both the IM Full and 70.3 race, and hundreds of triathletes from around the country now come to our city to enjoy training here, in what is arguably the triathlon capital of the Southeast.
The dates of Tri-Nooga 2021 are Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 11. You can choose to participate in whatever activities you would like. Of course the more you do, the more fun you will have.
Below is the schedule of activities:
Saturday, April 10th
Swim is cancelled -- possible water contamination, flood levels, and strong current with more rain forecasted.
9:30am: Run, Self- paced. Start when you would like after Swim. We will run the IM 70.3 route.
Start/finish at Erwin Marina. Run route will be marked. There will be one aid station on the run at
Battery Place that will serve both Riverfront and Battery Place. Run as much of the route as you
Sunday, April 11th
8:00am-12:00pm: Course preview bike ride. Meet at the parking lot across from Erwin Marina. There will be a roving SAG vehicle on the route. Phone numbers will be provided at the beginning of the ride. There will be one aid station on the bike course at Mile 34, Pigeon Mountain BBQ Pavilion. We intend to have some nutrition available throughout the weekend, but please be prepared with your own as well.
IMPORTANT: Please register at http://trinooga.itsyourrace.com for free. We would like to have a count of how many are planning to attend the event. Act fast, only 60 slots available. Registration will be open to members and non-members alike till slots are filled.
We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend of swimming, biking and running, as well as camaraderie in the Scenic City.
